Lysander Spooner. Recuperada segunda carta a Thomas F. Bayard

Roderick T. Long anuncia que se ha podido recuperar una segunda carta que Spooner envío al jurista y senador Thomas Bayard. A continuación, paso los enlaces de las dos cartas:

En ambas, Spooner recrimina la legitimidad de la constitución y de los políticos con tono duro contra Bayard.

"Sir, that your own 'simplicity' is a little 'sublime', when you tell us that this paper, the constitution, which nobody ever signed, which few people ever read, which the great body of the people never saw, and about whose meaning no two persons ever agreed, is 'the Supreme Law of the Land?'".
